Adam Jefford is a Visual Art and Design Specialist Secondary Teacher. He is currently the Head of Creative Industries at Pimpama State Secondary College, Vice-President of the Queensland Art Teachers' Association (QATA), and an Executive Board Member for Queensland Advocates for Arts Education (QAAE).

Adam completed a double Bachelors Degree of Creative Industries and Secondary Education at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), with Distinction and Second Class Honours Division A in 2008, after receiving a Diploma of Visual Arts from Southbank Institute of TAFE in 2004.

In 2012, Adam was the fourth Queensland-Smithsonian (Cooper Hewitt) Design Museum Fellow; a program offering Queensland school teachers the opportunity to travel to the Smithsonian Institution's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York and work with the Cooper-Hewitt's education department.
