Tess Maunder is a curator and writer. She is currently Public Programs and Publications Officer at the Institute of Modern Art (IMA), and Co-Director of the online publication The Maximilian.
Tess completed a Bachelor of Fine Art (Visual Art) at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with Distinction, in 2012. She has also participated in the Gwangju Biennale Foundation, The 5th International Curator Course, and a Curatorial Intensive: What does it mean to be international?, a training program for young curators by Independent Curators International (ICI), New York, and the Mori Art Museum, Tokyo, in 2013.
She has previously been published in Art & Australia (Aus), Fillip (CA), The Sculptor's Notebook (US), Eyeline (AUS), Ocula (NZ), and eyecontact (NZ).
