Charles Conder: The lithographs
This exhibition includes a series of lithographic prints created by the enigmatic English born artist Charles Conder. Immigrating to Australia in the late 1800s, Conder was a contemporary of Tom Roberts and both were key figures in the Heidelberg School.
Spanning the period of 1899 until 1906 and drawing on subjects from Balzac and the bohemian talks of Henri Merger, the lithographs are some of Conder's finest work.
