Past exhibition

Within this body of work Joseph Daws is seeking to explore the thresholds between subject matter and abstraction. This work has developed from Daws' interest in the latency of abstraction, the mobility of signification and the poetics of painting. Daws is currently completing his PhD in Visual Art at QUT and this exhibition forms part of his final assessment.
